Nines d'Onil Dolls

Founded in 1985 in Onil, Alicante, Nines Artesanals d'Onil carrie forward a Spanish dollmaking tradition rooted in the town's nineteenth-century workshops. Their dolls are hand made in Spain, with a team that attends to each stage of their creation, from expressive faces to clothing design, sewnig and assembly.

Since their founding, Nines d'Onil has grown to reach families in countries around the world. A merger with The Doll Factory Europe marks another chapter, bringing together two experienced dollmakers to expand their offering of educational and early childhood toys while preserving their commitment to traditional craftmanship.

Their collection ranges from anatomically correct educational dolls to more whimsical dolls with varied expressions, hairstyles and outfits that give each doll their own personality. The dolls' clothing is made of materials including cotton, muslin and plumeti, while the brand's characteristic vanilla scent adds another sensory detail.

- Body: When needed, wipe the vinyl surface using a soft, damp cloth. Use a small amount of mild soap if needed. Allow the doll to air dry naturally. Avoid using markers, pen or any ink near Mia as this can permanently stain her.
- Bathtime: Because she's made of vinyl, a light wash or gentle rinse is typically safe, but avoid submerging for extended periods, to avoid water getting trapped in the unsealed components.
- Hair: As Pippa's hair is made of fine yarn, do not brush it or apply any heat to it. If her hair gets wet, gently press the hair between layers of a towel to remove excess moisture. Do not rub her hair with the towel, let it air dry and gently reshape it with your fingers if needed.
- Outfits: Hand wash the doll's removable clothing in lukewarm water using a mild detergent. For hand-knitted or crocheted pieces, soak it in water then reshape and lay flat to dry. Do not machine wash the doll's clothing.
